Rapunzel
Actress - Talulla McNeilly
Genre - Reality, Thriller
Our idea for the two minute opening to our film is;
Talulla is out in Hastings town when she receives a text from her mum telling her to come home, the camera shots consist back and froth from both Talulla and her mother.
The idea for the film to be called Rapunzel was because the fact that Talulla's hair is red and long add a very symbolic feel to the opening. Also with the story line of the fairy tale was that her step mother was the villain, but the twist in our film is that the father is in fact the villain and the mother is the hero.
We choose Talulla to be the main character in our two minute opening because, one she has the long hair we were looking for, so it shows the symbolism of the the film title, Rapunzel. Another reason we chose Talulla is because she has a common interest in drama as she studied it for GCSE and now for AS ans A Level.

Two minute opening task; shooting schedule
2nd January 2011
Actress - Talulla Mcneilly
Locaations - Hastings beach, town centre, train station and train
We used the storyboard as a guide, to help us know where was best to start and so on.
We decided on the day which camera angles to use as we thought this would be best as we could film different shots of the same scene and then we can later determine the best shot when editing.
We have filmed the majority of the scene but we still need to film some extra shots to make sure we have enough footage to work with to make sure it is the best it can be.
